Sentul  

                Sentul is an economic plant where local farmers like to plant most especially, in  Tambol Ta Luang. I don’t exactly know why is this so, or is it to do with the soil here that makes sentul so soft and sweet, which of course is highly demanded from the market.  Frankly speaking, this agriculture fruit product have brought so much reputation to Lopburi province. The best period is to come during the “Sweet Sentul Festival and Good Products from Lopburi” which will take place by the end of June until the beginning of July of each year. Recommended and most popular sentul species is “Tab Tim”.

                To extend sentul eating period local people usually transformed the product to processed products not only to add value fruit but also increase selling channel.  Sentul processed products includes stir sentul, sentul float, and curry shell sentul.  In a similar theory, there is also campaign to encourage farmers in nearby Tamol to plant sentul as well.
