Salted Eggs
Salted eggs might not be attractive to capture tourist attention, but in terms of priority OTOP products of Lopburi province, salted eggs are not second best to none. In Amphur Muang Lopburi there is a village called “Moo Ban Din Sor Pong” this is where they have made a white clay filler for many generations. In 1989, Housewife Club of Provinces, Psychological Operations Battalion, and Special Warfare Center joined hands and launched a campaign to add value to white clay filler by transforming white clay filler and mixing it with salt and ashes for egg-wrapping purposes. This method will help to preserve taste of salted eggs not to get too salt and also to keep them for a longer period.
